MSMC Legacy is a WPA2 PSK wireless SSID pervasive througout campus, with the exception of BDMS. It is on both the 2.4 and 5.0 ghz bands, and designed for use with devices that can't support 802.1x fully, or devices that only have a 2.4ghz radio. MSMC Secure only services the 5.0 ghz band. Users may experiences intermittent connection issues on the 2.4Ghz band due to the large amount of interference form microwaves, phones, game controllers, ANY hotspot wireless devices, such as printers, etc. It uses the 208.138.60.x/22 Subnet. (same as wired RESNET) Current Passcode as of Fall 2020: 7knai1jz Troubleshooting: Scenario 1: User connects, but can't move data. May pull down IP address. May not connect to Legacy at all. 1. Open your control panel
(note, these are suggested changes, and I have not had the chance to test results in person on site) Scenario 2: TBA
