Scenario: Let’s say you are teaching a class or holding some meeting where you wish to share a video from online, or some document you have been working on. Regardless the case, this is a simple feature included in ZOOM. We will use a Word document, and a Youtube video in Google Chrome in this example.

1) Start your ZOOM meeting.

2) Bring up the document/video in Chrome you wish to share.

3) Click on the green “Share Screen” button on the navigation bar at the bottom of the ZOOM meeting window.

4) In the next window, select either the Word document/Chrome that you wish to share. You will notice that the object you clicked on is highlighted. *For sound, also tick off the “share computer sound” at the bottom left.* Once everything looks good, proceed to hit the blue “Share” button on the other corner.

5) At this point, the participants will be able to see what you are doing in Word/Chrome. *If you select “Screen 1” then everything done on your desktop will be visible.* (A little riskier if you have something else open that you don’t wish to share publicly)

6) To end the sharing session, you will just need to click on the “Stop Share” button up top on your screen. This will bring back your webcam
