Spam or robo calls

With our current version of operating system on the PBX, we do not have the ability to blacklist or whitelist calls. I have confirmed this with the PBX vendor as of yesterday.

A newer version, version 9.0, is available, but does NOT support a good chuck of our hardware (DNI and Analog Per nodes), so it is unknown at what point we will migrate to it.

The best practice with robo callers is to listen to the message and press the button to be placed on the "do not call" list, when/if prompted.

If it's not a robo call, immediately when the person starts talking, request to be put on the Do Not Call list, then hang up the phone.

For calls involving car warranties, you can state that this is an institution not a private residence so it doesn't apply to you, and then ask to be placed on the DNC list.

For Calls that outright harass you please report them to security.
