Checking Proxy Server Settings in Internet Explorer (IE)

Proxy server settings may prevent browsing the Internet
When troubleshooting an Internet connection, make sure that proxy server settings are not enabled.  The Mount does not use proxy servers for browsing the Internet.

Internet Explorer
To check your proxy server settings in Internet Explorer:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Go to Tools and click Internet Options
  3. Click the Connections Tab
  4. Click LAN settings

  5. The Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window should appear as below

  6. Press OK and OK to return to the web browser
